Arranging a video consultation
It’s simple to arrange a video consultation by following these steps:
- Schedule the appointment on the day you want
- Select the patient’s name
- Choose the appointment type from the drop-down menu
- Select Remote / Online Consultations as the location
- Choose the date and time from the calendar and click ok
- Select Video consultation
- Click the Next button
- Add the reason for the visit and any notes
- Select Add communications and choose either Email or SMS or both, depending on how you’d like to send the appointment confirmation to your patient.
- Hit the Save button
This sends an appointment confirmation to your patient which includes the link to join the video consultation.
Starting the video consultation
- Open the appointment in your diary
- Click on the video icon
- The video consultation screen will open, and you can start when you are ready
- Click Join
- You can start and stop your camera or mute your microphone using the icons
- End the call by clicking the red hang-up button
