Leukaemia changes lives in an instant. Every day in the UK, 28 people from across all ages hear they have been diagnosed – over 10,000 each year.
For patients and their families, it brings uncertainty, long periods of treatment and an emotional and practical burden that touches every part of daily life. And sadly, only half of leukaemia patients live longer than five years after their diagnosis.
For the past two years, our colleagues have shown what’s possible when we come together with a shared purpose. Through our partnership with Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, we raised £50,000 to support families with seriously ill children. Now, we’re taking on a new challenge to help Leukaemia UK find and fund research into better, kinder treatments.
We are here for a reason
Leukaemia is the most common type of cancer in children under 15, but as one of our colleagues knows too well, it can strike a person at any age.
Inspired by their personal journey, we’ve chosen Leukaemia UK as our charity partner for 2026. The charity funds innovative research, raises awareness of signs and symptoms and campaigns for change, to improve diagnosis, treatment and care for all those affected by the leukaemia both now and in the future.
Together we can make a difference
Over the next 12 months, our team will be rolling up their sleeves to raise funds, increase awareness and actively support Leukaemia UK’s mission. Together, we’re aiming to raise up to £28,000. Colleagues across the business will be getting involved in organised runs, walks, cycles and challenge events throughout the year, alongside creative, internally led fundraising initiatives.
We’ll be sharing more as the year unfolds, with updates on events, milestones and moments that matter. For now, we’re proud to support Leukaemia UK and to play our part in helping to stop leukaemia from devasting lives.
