Healthcode hires Head of Business Development for new era

Richard Aris has joined Healthcode, the specialists in online products and services for the private healthcare sector to help the company achieve its ambitious growth strategy.

In the newly-created role of Head of Business Development, Richard will plan and direct Healthcode’s sales and development activity and report to Managing Director, Peter Connor. He will lead the Business Development team in building strong, long-term partnerships with practices, hospitals and insurers, providing them with support and keeping them informed about products and services that will help them operate more efficiently.

Highly experienced in his field, Richard previously managed distribution sales for FTSE-listed Just Group, a financial services provider specialising in retirement income. He actually began his career at health insurer BUPA so he is also familiar with the private healthcare environment.

The appointment is part of Healthcode’s bold transformation programme, a comprehensive overhaul of business systems and processes, as well as strategic recruitment to enable it to expand and operate effectively on a bigger scale. The company already occupies a unique position in the private healthcare sector as the official clearing organisation for medical invoices as well as market leaders in the provision of ground breaking online services, such as The PPR (Private Practice Register).
