Healthcode Academy

Technology plays a huge part in everyday life these days, both at home and at work, and the healthcare sector is no exception. Although one of the best ways to learn anything is to spend time exploring the options, we realise that time for busy practitioners and their staff is a precious commodity.

We also know it is worth making the effort to ensure you and your team have the tools on hand to make those important work tasks quicker and easier - and, ultimately, make your practice more efficient.

We understand that our powerful solutions can sometimes be daunting to use for those both with and without IT confidence. So we have created the Healthcode Academy with a team of Product Specialists to guide you through the basics of both ePractice and the Private Practice Register.

To make these more tailored to your needs we will use your own site and data for our complementary one-to-one modular tutorial sessions. These are available to anyone with a Healthcode user ID and will increase confidence and skill levels. We understand that evidence of Continuing Professional Development is important for everyone and while we cannot currently give CPD points, you will receive a certificate of completion for each tutorial module taken.

Modules for ePractice

The modules are available to anyone with a Healthcode username and login credentials to a live ePractice site, but they must have logged in to the site at least once beforehand and set up a unique password that should never be shared.

The tutorials are done online, so ahead of the session please ensure  that the computer to be used has a working microphone and speaker or headset.

Please note that during the tutorial we will be adding, accessing and amending patient and personal data on the site.

Module 1 - Settings and configuration

If you are unable to set up some of the information at this time (maybe because you are new to private practice), don’t worry as this can be configured at any time later.

Modules for The PPR

The tutorials are done online, so ahead of the session please ensure  that the computer to be used has a working microphone and speaker or headset.

You must have the necessary information ready before your training, including files that will need uploading from your computer. These must not exceed 5MB and must be in one of the following formats: PDF, PNG, JPEG or GIF.

Please note that during the tutorial we will be adding, accessing and amending your personal data on the site.

Module 1 - Onboarding support (Registration form)

If you do not already have an ePractice site you need to complete the online registration form to apply for a PPR profile, which must be done in one sitting. This should be viewed as the starting point with more data being added once the profile has been set up. For full details of what information is required please click here.
