Records & Reporting
This tab gives you access to run various reports, download them and also see a list of reports that others have run. You can also access Membership Enquiry if you have subscribed to a service package.
The tab is split into three sections:
- Reports Available
- Find Member
- BI Init (not in use)
Reports Available
Click the Records & Reporting tab, then Reports Available.
This is page divided into four sections:
- Reports – the main section on the top left of the screen listing all reports generated in the last three months by any of the users accessing the site
- Report Details – the main section on the top right of the screen giving information about the selected report with options to view, delete or download it
- Filter Reports – filter by report name to reduce the list size
- Request New Report – choose from the list to generate a new report
Generate a new report
This is found on the bottom right of the screen. Simply follow these steps to generate a new report.
- In the Request New Report section at the bottom right of the screen, choose a report from the drop-down menu (see Reports available for more information on these)
- The Report Requests screen will appear (if you don’t want to continue simply click on Records & Reporting > Reports Available again)
- Select the start and end dates
- In the Report Description box you can add details to the report name or completely rename the report to make it easier to find
- Click Send Request
- The Report Requests page will close and your report will appear at the top of the Reports screen with a status of “Ready for processing”
- You can either leave the report to generate in the background or click on the refresh icon on the far right of the screen – this will change the status to “Processing”
- The status will change to “Completed” when the report is ready
View and print a report
- Click on a report to highlight it from the Reports section – the details will appear in the Report Details pane
- If the option is available, click View
- The Report Viewer window will open
- Click Print Report or click << Reports Available to go back to the list without printing
Delete a report
- Click on a report to highlight it from the Reports section – the details will appear in the Report Details pane
- Click Delete
- A warning message will appear
- Click OK to continue and the report will be deleted
Download a report
- Click on a report to highlight it from the Reports section – the details will appear in the Report Details pane
- Choose a File Type from the drop-down menu options available
- Click Download and save where required
