But when they aren\u2019t, we make it clear and simple to identify and resolve the issue. You might see a section of the invoice highlighted with an error message. Once the issue is flagged, you can amend and resubmit the invoice straight away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you raise invoices on a third-party practice management system and submit them through our Clearing Service using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/connect-with-veda\/\">VEDA<\/a>, here\u2019s our guide to the most common error messages. We\u2019ve also given you some simple tips on how to quickly resolve them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Access Denied<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What this means:<\/strong>&nbsp;You haven&#8217;t set up a Clearing Service subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log into your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accounts.healthcode.co.uk\">Healthcode Account<\/a> and go to your VEDA site. Select \u201cManage Subscription\u201d to set up your direct debit payment.&nbsp;More information on how to do this can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/help-and-support\/clearing-service-practitioners-veda\/\">here<\/a> for practitioners  and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/help-and-support\/clearing-service-practices-clinics-veda\/\">here<\/a> for practices and clinics.<\/li><li>If you&#8217;re unable to access your account, you can request a payment link to be sent from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/contact\/\">Customer Services<\/a> team to set up the direct debit.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Invalid User Name\/Password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What this means:<\/strong> The incorrect details \/ password have been entered into the third-party system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contact our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/contact\/\">Customer Services<\/a> team. It&#8217;ll help us resolve the issue more quickly if you have your welcome email from the Registrations team to hand.<\/li><li>Speak to your own system vendor.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payee Provider \u2013 Must be M<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What this means:<\/strong> The practitioner isn&#8217;t set up as a payee provider (who gets paid directly by the insurer) and we don&#8217;t have consent to process these invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Request, complete and return a data processing consent form through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/contact\/\">Customer Services<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hospital not mapped<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What this means:&nbsp;<\/strong>The treatment location hasn\u2019t been mapped (added) to your site. In rare cases, it may be because an insurer doesn\u2019t recognise a particular treatment location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcode.co.uk\/contact\/\">Customer Services<\/a> with the name and address of the treatment location, along with a user ID \/ Site ID for mapping.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treatment setting must be I, O or D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What this means:<\/strong> The invoice has the incorrect service setting for the treatment\/procedure. For example, heart surgery couldn\u2019t take place in a consulting room and would need to be at an inpatient care facility like a hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you can do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select the correct treatment setting on the invoice.
