Secure messaging is an electronic messaging service for hospitals, Insurers and Specialists. It facilitates secure and confidential message transfer between any of the parties on the network. It is particularly useful in the medical and insurance environments because of data sensitivity.

Healthcode's Pre-Authorisation service provides the capability for Healthcare Hospitals and Insurers to confirm authorization details for insured patients.

Authorization details for private procedures agreed between Insurers and their members can be distributed to hospitals in a timely and structured fashion. In the case of a patient anticipating their medical insurance to fund a proposed episode, the Healthcare Hospital is able to electronically request confirmation that the proposed procedure is covered within the patient's policy.

The service provides near real-time processing.

ePractice booker is a secure on-line appointment booking service enabling patient booking data to be exchanged between Specialists, their Medical Secretaries and Private Hospitals. ePractice booker will be available late 2007.

Provides the secure exchange of confidential information - such as bill queries, discharge planning, managed care discussions, treatment protocols and medical reports - between providers, insurers, specialists and medical secretaries. ePractice messenger will be available late june 2007.

Healthcode's NHS Code Toolkit provides an on-line web based facility for registered users to retrieve and translate clinical codes between the disparate standards deployed in the Public and Private sectors.
