Healthcode's Pre-Authorisation service provides the capability for Hospitals and Insurers to confirm authorisation details for insured patients.

Authorisation details for private procedures agreed between Insurers and their members can be distributed to hospitals in a timely and structured fashion. In the case of a patient anticipating their medical insurance to fund a proposed episode, the Healthcare Hospital is able to electronically request confirmation that the proposed procedure is covered within the patient's policy.
