pmiConnect is a secure web-based service for intermediaries and private medical insurers. It provides a protected system for registered intermediaries to request and retrieve individual and age-rated group (SME) quotations from insurers.

pmiConnect is currently being developed by Healthcode in consultation with private medical insurance intermediaries and insurers and will evolve overtime to provide a complete processing service, including:

• insurer document management
• policy plans
• electronic certificates
• membership schedules
• renewals
• mid-term transfers
• transfers
• specific reporting

In the first phase of development, pmiConnect will help intermediaries and insurers to reduce the burden of quotation administration by streamlining processes in a secure environment. As a result both intermediaries and insurers will be able to offer a more efficient and better quality service to their clients.
