Healthcode's patient preauth facility allows hospital administration staff to carry out an online eligibility verification to confirm that the medical procedure planned for a patient is covered within their insurance policy.

Using Healthcode's secure network, encrypted to online banking standards, the patient's details are transmitted safely and quickly to insurers (including out-of-hours). With the insurance policy details confirmed, patients can be treated safe in the knowledge that payment will be made.
